THIS year, traditional San Juan celebrations will be focused at chiringuitos (beach bars) in Fuengirola.The council has decided to support local businesses by not holding a large public party celebrating the summer solstice, and allowing each venue to hold its own celebration.Mayor Ana Mula presented the initiative, which has been christened Noche Blanca de San Juan.There will be live music at chiringuitos, and skewers of sardines and a drink will be available for €5 on the afternoon and evening of Tuesday June 23 and all day on June 24 and those who go dressed in white will be given a free aperitif, the mayor explained.
