Attempted child abduction in Benidorm

POLICE in Benidorm are investigating a suspected attempted kidnapping of a 12-year-old girl at a La Cala school in Benidorm.
The youngster reported to her parents that a woman and two men tried to push her into a white van at the school gates. The child described the vehicle as having sliding doors.
At the time of going to press there have been no witnesses to the incident which happened at 1.20pm on Thursday June 11. Police responded by immediately examining the scene of the incident but were unable to find any witnesses to the incident.
The child has been medically assessed and has been found to be suffering no ill effects as a result of her ordeal.
Head teachers of schools in the area have been informed. Parents are advised to be extra vigilant.
