Fun for the family at Summer Fair

EVER POPULAR: Children enjoy the bouncy castle.

LAUDE, the Lady Elizabeth School, hosted its Summer Fair on Sunday June 7.
The playground was crammed with stalls offering bargains, games and entertainment.
Overseas FM provided the musical backdrop with the ever popular Allerton Road performing live.
The proceeds will be donated to Make A Smile, providing food for children in need on the Costa Blanca.
Suzette Jennings of Make A Smile said: “We have always had wonderful support from the Lady Elizabeth School, collections of food and clothing that mean so much to the disadvantaged children.”
There were stalls appealing to every taste along with traditional country fair games including Swingball.
An ever-popular bouncy castle was available for the children to enjoy, as well as a delicious barbecue.
One of the pupil’s mothers, Kathryn Thompson, said: “It was a great day for a great cause.”
