A NEW phase of the so-called Edu training fund case has started today (June 8) with more arrests.The UDEF Financial and Tax Delinquency Unit of the National Police force is continuing its investigations into what happened to millions of euros destined to train unemployed people in Andalucia.Arrests are taking place all over the region, with seven SAE Andalucian Employment Service employees reportedly taken in for questioning in Malaga so far.One of the names on the list is once again Juan Carlos Lomeña, former Junta de Andalucia regional government employment delegate in Malaga, who was also arrested back in March in connection with the same case.At least 30 arrests are expected to take place today and may include other Junta officials.
