FORTY-FOUR migrants, six of them women, were rescued on Sunday night from a dinghy 50 miles off the east coast of Ceuta and taken to the Motril Port.Salvamento Maritimo (Spanish sea search and rescue service) said in a statement that the operation was carried out with the help of a Sasemar 101 plane, and craft Guardamar Polimnia and Salvamar Hamal.
