Give with confidence to Food Banks

ONG (Organizacion No Gubernamental) is a loyalty foundation which gathers funds to help families who have fallen victim to the economical crisis. Although food banks have been commonplace in the UK for quite some years, they have been relatively new to Spain. In 2001 the first transparency ONG organization was set up which drove the first model of analysis of transparency of ONGs in Spain. Patricia Pardo Sedeño and Francisco Javier Jimenez Peña (pictured here) are two young volunteers that were collecting food that will go to the less fortunate families. Patricia de Roda who is one Director of the loyalty foundation said that the transparency of the organisation is strong and this is the reason that they are able to set up projects that donors feel confident to give more.
Since 2012 the organization has grown by 30% and there are now 23 ONG organizations that operate with total transparency on where the donations are being used.
As reported by the Loyalty Foundation, managed entities analyzed 1,100 million Euros, supported by 1.5 million members and 60,000 volunteers, while their projects benefit 85 million people in Spain and in developing countries.
