Managing Director Jim McAllister who has more than 27 years experience in the greetings card business moved to the Costa del Sol a number of years ago and told the Euro Weekly News that people just kept asking him to open a Cardland here in Spain.
Jim said that Cardland’s philosophy has been to stock the top selling branded and licensed cards whilst retaining a value offering with cards starting under a euro. He said “Primarily focusing on loyal British clients, we are finding the Spanish and other international customers have warmed to our products too.”
It is of no surprise that Cardland has been nominated to go through to the finalists of this year’s Best Specialist Multiple Retailer of Greetings Cards category.
