A PUBLIC jury has returned a guilty verdict for a woman accused of cutting the throat of another woman in La Cala del Moral (Rincon de la Victoria).
She has also been found guilty of robbery for taking a purse, watch and other belongings after murdering the victim.
The events took place in December of 2013, when the culprit slit the victim’s throat as she owed her €4,000.
The prosecutors’ office and jury have considered it proved that the woman attacked the victim when she turned her back, so she could not have been able to defend herself.
A sentence of 21 years in prison has been requested for her and it is awaiting to be approved by the judge.
