Some TLC for old Mijas street

WORK to renovate Calle Francisco Nuñez Sedeño in Mijas is progressing well and should be complete within about a month, the council has reported.
Following a visit to see how the renovation was going, Public Streets councillor Juan Carlos Gonzalez reported that the job was 60 per cent complete, and residents would soon benefit from new, architectural barrier-free pavements, better services and a better view as all cables were being put underground.
“The street is very old and we decided it needed attention as soon as possible,” the councillor said, explaining that the work began in April, was expected to take two months and had a budget of €230,477.
