A NEW government team for the City of Alicante may have been formed.The PSPV negotiating team, headed by the candidate for Mayor of Alicante, Gabriel Echavarri, has reached a minimal agreement with parties Guanyar and Compromis for governance in the city after no party reached a majority in the recent elections.Miguel Angel Pavon, who was the mayoral candidate for Guanyar, said the coalition would be “progressive and left,” adding: “There is a programmatic agreement on a number of issues that would enable joint action of government.”A formal agreement and framework is being prepared before any formal announcements are made.
