On your bike!

ALBOX is gearing up for its annual Bicycle Day on Saturday, June 13, and residents, visitors and cycling fans of all ages are invited to go along.
Due to start this year on Calle Poeta Juan Berbel at 6pm, with numbers distributed an hour beforehand, the event (which 250 people signed up for in 2014) will include various trials and routes for cyclists of all ages and families.
Sports councillor Francisco Carrillo said: “Each year more people take part in the event, encouraging us to improve it and add new attractions. We therefore wish to invite all local residents and visitors to come along and take part in Albox’s Day of the Bicycle, which aims to encourage a healthy lifestyle and good civil relations.”
The organisers, Albox Council’s sports department and collaborators Albox-Bike and Club Ciclista Albojense, recommend that those wishing to take part wear helmets for safety reasons.
