Come on in, the water’s lovely!

RESULTS are in from tests done on waters on the Mijas coast to determine whether they are apt for bathing.
The tests, by the Junta de Andalucia regional government’s health department, revealed that the water quality was excellent off El Charcon, La Cala, El Bombo, Royal Beach and Riviera del Sol.
The tests are carried out following recommendations from the World Health Organisation to guarantee bathers’ safety, Beaches councillor Carmen Marquez explained, stressing that the great results were down to year-round work to keep beaches and streams clean.
