Helping the local community

HELP Murcia Mar Menor has presented a cheque of €2,000 to Caritas in Torre Pacheco which provides local help with food and shelter to the less fortunate.
The local Caritas of Torre Pacheco will use their donated money for their food project where people without any form of income receive a monthly voucher with which they can go to the ‘Project Shop’ to buy their necessary food for very reduced prices.
Torre Pacheco also provides a shelter for the homeless and Caritas Torre Pacheco is always in need of blankets and sheets as often when people leave the shelter they take these items with them so all donations are gratefully received.
