IRISH rock band U2 is mourning the sudden death of veteran tour manager Dennis Sheehan, who was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room and is suspected of having suffered a heart attack.
Bono said in a statement: “We’ve lost a family member, we’re still taking it in. He wasn’t just a legend in the music business, he was a legend in our band. He is irreplaceable.”
Sheehan, who also worked with Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed and Iggy Pop, had worked with the Irish rock band since 1982.
