Caminito fully booked for the summer

SINCE being re-opened to the public on March 28, the Caminito del Rey (King’s Walkway) in El Chorro has received 43,500 visits.
Malaga Provincial Council said it expects this figure to rise to 110,000 by the end of the summer months as the 75,000 spaces than were available on the walk from June to the end of September are already fully booked.
Those who have not yet been will have to wait for October to walk the spectacular mountain trail and keep an eye out for the free tickets to be released on www.caminitodelrey.info
The council, which currently runs the Caminito, reported that the website has received more than 793,000 visits since it was launched, 560,000 of them from Spain and 42,000 from the US.
