PREPARE to stay awake on the most special sleepless night of the year as Rincon de la Victoria gears up to celebrate the Noche en Blanco on Saturday, May 30.Entitled ‘Un Rincon para la Cultura’ (A corner for culture), the council has organised more than 20 different performances and activities across the town.Officials are expecting to beat the more than 5,000 visitors registered during last year’s edition.“Next Saturday, Rincon de la Victoria will become a culture capital aimed at promoting quality tourism,” said Mayor of the Town, Francisco Salado.One of the most awaited performances will be carried out by Rincon-de-la-Victoria born soprano, Maria Rojas.There will be an outdoor painting exhibition in El Cantal, poetry in Casa Fuerte Bezmiliana and a harp recital in Sala Las Musas at 10pm. A gospel concert will be held at 8pm in the Folklore Centre. Several choirs will gather at the town hall at 9pm, including Coral El Castillo and Coral Santa Cecilia.The event will start at 8pm at Plaza de la Constitucion.
