Sunday hiking route from Almuñecar

THE Municipal Sports Department of Almuñecar has organised a hiking route scheduled on Sunday (May 31) around the areas of the Huetor Mountain range and Alfaguara.
“The route is characterised by large forests and we will have spectacular views from the Vega de Granada, and the north side of Sierra Nevada, which is still covered in snow,” said one of the coordinators, Enrique Garin.
Those interested can sign up at the town’s Sports Office, located at the Francisco Bonet Stadium (958 88 31 42).
