ROBOTICS workshop pupils in Huercal-Overa teamed up with the local mayor to build 3D printers that have been purchased for the group.The pupils were excited to be able to build the printers themselves and with the prospect of using them in the future for their designs.Also, a 3D scanner has been bought to allow copies to be made of pieces.Mayor Domingo Fernandez said: “The pupils at this new workshop we’ve launched this year now have new material to help them use and increase their knowledge.”The council launched the workshop in October as a pioneer activity to introduce children to robotics and technology using top quality educational materials, Lego Wedo and MindStorms EV3 kits.
