Suspected drug trafficker arrested in Velez-Malaga

THE OWNER of a grocery store of Velez-Malaga has been arrested by National Police as the suspected author of a drug trafficking crime.
In addition, the shop is close to a local school. Police reported that the 23-year-old detainee distributed hashish during the entrance and exit hours of the students.
During a search, a total of 105 grams of the substance were found inside a tobacco packet, as well as €424.43 in cash.
The man has been remanded to prison and is awaiting trial.
