Retirees enjoy tour of La Nucia

THE ‘Grup Scout’ movement of La Nucia has carried out a Solidarity Tour of the town for the residents of the local Savia Retirement Home.
Twenty sections of the scouting group took part in the tour, each scout allocated supervision of a resident, most of whom were in wheelchairs. The tour began and ended at the retirement home, with several stops made during the two-hour tour at different landmarks in the town and explanations given as to the history and tradition of each place of interest.
The scouts and the residents of Savia Retirement Home thoroughly enjoyed the day.
