Stolen cars recovered

THREE young men have been arrested in La Linea de la Concepcion in possession of four luxury vehicles that had been reported stolen.
A police patrol took chase in the Las Palomeras area when two four wheel drives turned abruptly and sped away to avoid a checkpoint.
Eventually the two vehicles attempted to enter a country property at the same time and collided, at which point the men were arrested and investigation of the cars found that they had been reported stolen, as had another two found on the property.
The cars, which had been stolen from Marbella, Sevilla, Madrid and Portugal, are believed to have been used to transport hashish from pick-up points on nearby beaches.
