Motril’s best beaches see three blue flags confirmed

THE three beaches in Motril bestowed with the blue flag quality labels have held on to the title for the 2015 season.
These three areas are the only ones in the province of Granada that hold this prestigious award, together with the Marina of Almuñecar, annually chosen by the Environmental Education and Consumers’ Association, after strict quality analyses.
Mayor of Motril, Luisa Garcia Chamorro, congratulated staff members in all municipal departments involved for their effort to keep the beaches in great condition.
In addition, five Motril beaches will also display the Q for Quality label, which certifies the quality of water, sand and services.
