RESIDENTS in the coastal village of Cala San Vincente are outraged at not having had any illumination along the beach for over a week.The pretty coastal town of Cala San Vincente in Pollenca has been in a blackout for more than a week, prompting people to place an official complaint.They expressed their anger, claiming the authorities are ignorant of the problems that would be caused to the tourist trade.The start of the tourist season has begun with the opening of three hotels, the Don Pedro, Hotel Niu, and Hotel Simar, where the public lighting has been off due to a “problem that nobody seems to want to fix,” said the residents’ complaint.
