Vespa scooters roar across the Axarquia

VESPA scooters are welcome to participate in the second Vespa Rally of Axarquia 2015, scheduled for June 14.
News was announced by Youth councillor, Sandra Jimena, who explained that the non-competitive race would start from the Paseo Maritimo of El Faro in Torre del Mar at 10.30am.
Those interested in participating can inscribe the same day at 9am. They will receive goodie bags, a commemorative t-shirt, a complimentary breakfast and their competitor number.
The race will go through Axarquia municipalities Tore del Mar, Velez-Malaga, Arenas, Archez, Competa, Torrox, with a stop in Torrox-Costa, followed by a visit to Nerja’s Barco de Chanquete and the arrival point has been set in the Balcon de Europa where all visitors will be able to admire the classic Vespa scooters.
Finally, there will be an award presentation event at the Torres de San Juan restaurant, with different categories.
The event is being organised by the Axarquia Vespa Club with the collaboration of Nerja’s Youth Department.
