Mijas puts final touches to summer preparations

WORKERS continue to put the final touches to the coastal path along the beaches by Riviera del Sol in Mijas Costa.
Approximately 250 metres of walkway connects the area’s beaches and the council has declared that they will continue to Calahonda as soon as permission comes through from the Junta de Andalucia regional government.
Meanwhile wooden bases are being placed under 40 showers on Mijas coast’s beaches and walkways down to the shore, created to meet mobility regulations.
Beach councillor Carmen Marquez explained: “The work is being done on beaches including Playa Marina, Playa de El Charcon and Playa de El Faro. We aim to make all our beaches easily accessible for locals and visitors this summer.”
