CHILDREN at Torrequebrada International School are cracking open their piggy banks to help make others’ dreams come true.
Secondary students at the Benalmadena school have decided to help children with cancer and staff and AVOI association volunteers from Malaga’s Materno Infantil hospital visit Disneyland Paris.
To achieve this goal, they have arranged, with help from the school management, a charity gala which will be starring comedians Dani Rovira, Chucky, Alvaro Carrero and Tomas Garcia.
The Entre Amigos (Between Friends) gala is to be held tomorrow, May 7, starting at 8.30pm at the school.
Tickets priced at €50 can be obtained from the school secretary, on the school’s website www.colegiotorrequebrada.com, at the AVOI association’s offices or on the door before the event.
A ‘row zero’ has also been arranged for those who wish to donate without attending the event.
Headmistress Sonia Diez has explained that the trip will include about 50 people altogether, and is planned for the first week in September.
