Velez-Malaga Alzheimer’s daycare centre ready by June

THE construction work on Velez-Malaga’s daycare centre for people with Alzheimer’s disease will be finished by the end of June.
Mayor Francisco Delgado Bonilla visited the site together with Urbanism and Infrastructure councillor, Concepcion Labao, and was met there by the project chiefs.
Mr Delgado said that the municipal land plot, located next to the Hospital San Juan de Dios, was donated to local charity Afadax, Association of Alzheimer’s Patients of Axarquia, who will give assistance to users.
The project had a total cost of €445,863, paid for by the town council, and an additional €80,000, donated by the company in charge of the construction work, which will be allocated for equipment improvement and garden work, amongst other things.
