Police catch climber on building ‘trying to steal cables’

POLICE in Malaga City arrested a 43-year-old man in the Cruz de Humilladero district after reportedly catching him trying to steal cables from the facade of a municipal building.
The patrolling officers said they found the man perched on a ledge on the outside of the building at 1am trying to pull cables off the wall.
Although he tried to run away, allegedly dropping his loot and a knife, screwdriver and a pair of gloves as he went, the officers took chase and managed to catch up with him.
