Balearic Islands’ spending on parental leave goes up

MORE than €11 million was spent by the Social Security Services in the Balearic Islands on parental leave payments during the first three months of 2015.
The number represents a 6.99 per cent increase if compared with the same period of 2014.
Specifically, €10.1 million was spent on maternity leave and a total of €1.01 million went to paternity leave pay, the latter also registering a 4.92 per cent increase.
