TWO vehicles that had been stolen in Italy and France were retrieved last weekend by Guardia Civil officers at Motril Port.
Two French citizens were arrested when they were tried to embark the stolen cars on two boats destined to Melilla and Alhucemas (Morocco). The two have been charged with a receiving crime and document forgery, according to the statement released by Guardia Civil. The two stolen vehicles were a Range Rover Sport valued at €75,000 and a Renault Megane.
Both men have been remanded to prison and are awaiting trial.
