QUEEN Elizabeth is 89 today, April 21.
We at EWN would like to wish Her Majesty many happy returns on this special day as the world waits with bated breath to see whether her new great-grandchild will decide to arrive in time to share a birthday with her.
Although some believe the Queen is beginning to slow down and hand over duties to the Prince of Wales, she is certainly extremely busy for her age.
On September 9 this year, Queen Elizabeth is due to become the longest reigning British monarch, overtaking the previous record-holder, Queen Victoria.
Queen Elizabeth is already older than Victoria was when she died, and Victoria could not have been seen riding out at this stage in her reign as the Queen was last week.
