A Norwegian fugitive wanted in his home country for fraud has been arrested in Marbella.
National Police officers stopped the 50-year-old man and upon checking his ID found a European arrest order had been issued for him.
At the request of the Norwegian authorities, the man’s home on a Marbella urbanisation was searched and documents and other items possibly related to the case confiscated.
The fugitive and his father, who was arrested in Norway, are suspected to have led a group that stole funds from investors.
