HOWARD HEADWORTH presents his Andalucia saga in El Pilar, Sorbas-Lubrin at 12.30pm on Thursday April 30.
Novelist Howard Headworth has lived in Almeria for 20 years and is enthralled by the vestiges of the former Muslim kingdom still evident in Andalucia.
This prompted his two novels, The Al-Andalus Chronicle and its sequel, Spain’s Pursuit of Destiny: The Columbus Years, which follows events during a crucial point in Spanish history around the year 1500.
The talk is followed by book-signing and a three-course lunch.
Tickets cost €12 and early booking is advisable as places are limited. Telephone 950 069 077/647 877 091 or email restaurantealbar@gmail.com
