REPRESENTATIVES of the 112 services staff members in the Balearic Islands have criticised their poor job conditions, caused by a lack of personnel and organisation.

“The significant staff reduction is affecting the service’s quality, call management and the coordination with other emergency services,” said the trade union CCOO in a statement.

They claim that levels of stress are affecting the staff’s health and could result in drastic consequences for the members of the public who require the service.
