Spain’s Eurovision singer Edurne films in Nerja

EDURNE, Spain’s 2015 Eurovision representative, visited Nerja to record the official advertising spot for the Tour of Spain bicycle race.

The filming, which involved the collaboration of the Sports and Environment Department of the town council, was carried out on El Cañuelo beach, at the Maro Cliffs Natural Park.

The video will be broadcast on Spanish channel one shortly, featuring the town’s beach in some of the main scenes.

The adverts’ music is the song ‘Amanecer,’ chosen to be performed on May 23 at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. It was composed by Thomas Gibson, Tony Sanchez-Ohlsson and Peter Böstrom.

Edurne is to sing in front of more than an estimated 125 million Eurovision viewers across the entire world.

The Madrid-born singer said she was thrilled to record the video in Nerja and explained that it was not the first time she had visited the town.

In addition, she was very excited to perform at the Eurovision Song contest and said that the song she was participating with had a very international, strong sound with a great message about overcoming one’s fears.

The production team and singer will also shoot in other places around Malaga, specifically in Marbella’s Puerto Banus.
