SPLASH Pools Mijas SL is a large shop just below the restaurant Valparaiso, on the Carretera de Mijas, at the entrance to Urbanisation Doña Pilar.

There is always parking space in front of the shop to enable chemicals, etc, to be loaded easily into your car.

The business has been there since 1999 and is still run by the same people, Paul and Sammi Clueit, along with their long- standing employees.

The shop has recently been renovated and stocks everything you need for the maintenance of your pool, from chemicals and cleaning equipment to spare parts.

A very popular service is the FREE chemical test; you take a small sample of your pool water and they will test it and advise if you need to treat it in any way.

A team of professional pool cleaners provide a quality maintenance service and technicians to deal with any repairs.

Automatic covers, pool heaters and saltwater chlorinators are some of the many accessories they supply and fit.

Splash Pools build new pools which are covered by a 10-year guarantee. A five-year guarantee is given on complete renovations – removing the old tiles and treating the pool with a coat of waterproof, rubberised cement before it is re-tiled – and there is now a wide choice of tiles and friezes available.

One month’s FREE pool maintenance is given on completion of both new pools and renovations.

They also have specialist equipment from the US to carry out leak detection, which costs 80€ per hour plus IVA for private pools. Most leaks are found within one hour.

Opening hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
