Car insurance fees go down

THE average cost of car insurance in the Balearic Islands has decreased by 6.4 per cent in the past year.

Islanders pay an average of €423 per year, according to the data released by online site Rastreator.com.

The national figures have shown a 3.5 per cent decrease, with the most expensive fees those registered in the Cantabria area, where residents pay an average of €496 per year.
