ALBOX-BORN poet Juan Jose Ceba will kindly donate more than 2,000 books from his private collection to the municipal library ‘Poeta Juan Berbel.’
“On behalf of all residents of Albox, as well as the town council, I want to thank Juan Jose Ceba for this altruistic donation and for its infinite generosity,” said Culture Councillor, Francisco Carrillo.
He continued: “We will treasure these books as we know some of them have an immeasurable value.”
All residents will now be able to enjoy literary pieces, many of them linked to the Almanzora Valley and the history of the town.
The delivery, which has been accredited as the biggest donation in the history of the municipal library, will take place on Thursday (April 23), which will be marked by a symbolic event that will start at 12:30pm at the town hall.
“It is very exciting for me,” said the poet, Juan Jose Ceba. “Books were my childhood paridise.”
