TWO Irish men have been found guilty of manslaughter by a jury and jailed for a total of 22 years.
The men, who were accused of killing a fellow countryman in Benalmadena in 2010, apologised to the deceased’s family in court last Monday, April 13, and said that they had not intended to kill him.
Although the man died after a beating and had 44 puncture wounds, after the confession and apology the public prosecutor reduced his request for a murder charge to one of manslaughter.
