Politicians complain Motril park left neglected

THE Andalucian Party of Motril has complained that the town’s cleaning service was neglecting the area of the Parque de los Pueblos de America during the Easter holidays.

“Large amounts of rubbish were piling up on the gardens, and there were full waste bags that had not been collected by the cleaning service,” said representative Antonio Escamez, who warned that such sights would cause a negative impact on tourism.

The party has requested that the council coordinate the service in a more appropriate way to avoid repeating these scenes.
