Spanish new car sales pass 100,000 in March

NEW car sales in Spain rose 40.5 per cent in March, in comparison to the same period the year before.

The report, released by ANFAC, a manufacturers’ association, said that this marked 19 months of continuous growth in the Spanish market.

ANFAC stated that 112,299 vehicles were sold this March, the first time in four and half years that sales have passed the 100,000 mark. It’s generally assumed that a government subsidy scheme is helping the strong motoring market in Spain.
