INVESTIGATIONS are underway to ascertain whether an alleged cyber-attack that caused over-booking for the Caminito del Rey yesterday, April 1, also affected other days.

Although the online website where visits are booked was programmed to allow 600 visits per day, an extra 300 people turned up at 10am with tickets ready to walk the thrilling route.

Initial chaos due to lack of sufficient helmets and worry at the effects the mass visit could cause was eventually overcome and nobody left disappointed.

Malaga Provincial Council has declared that checks are being run to see whether extra tickets have been produced for any other dates.
