Spanish wine regions aim to make a splash in the USA

TWO Spanish wine regions, Ribera del Duero and Rueda, have joined forces in an attempt to win over the all-important US market.

The new campaign, called ‘Si What’s Next,’ is described as “a mind-set to explore the unexpected and discover the regions and the unique wines of Ribera del Duero and Rueda like never before.”

Both regions are hoping they will become the go-to wines for the next generation of enthusiasts.

Ribera del Duero is best known for red wine from Tempranillo grapes, while Rueda’s jewel is its lean but fruity wine from the Verdejo grape.
