FRENCH president Francois Hollande states that all 150 victims of the Germanwings crash should be identified by “the end of the week at the latest.”
He went on to say that this would be possible due to DNA samples of the victims taken from the crash site. Mr Hollande was speaking at a Berlin press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
This statement comes as a stark contrast to an earlier report provided by the Criminal Research Institute at France’s National Gendarmerie, who said it would take between two and four months to complete the victim identification process, if indeed they are ever able to identify all of the victims.
