Drugs suspected to be behind Torremolinos death

THE death of a 36-year-old American man in Torremolinos and four cases of intoxication could have been caused by the same drug, police suspect.

Test and post mortem examination results are hoped to determine whether the deceased and a friend who remains in hospital, and three youngsters who were intoxicated in Malaga City consumed the same substance.

Meanwhile police continue to investigate and have not dismissed the possibility of a bad batch of drugs mixed with alcohol being behind the cases.
