THE Department of Health is taking stringent sanitation measures with Alcoy’s drinking water in the run-up to the summer season, five months after the last case of Legionella was reported in the city.
The source of last year’s outbreak was never established, the first in four years. It was, however, Alcoy’s 17th episode of Legionella since 1999.
