CITY dog-owners will be pleased to hear of a number of new measures that will affect their pets.
In two weeks time, the Campanillas district of Malaga will have a new 3,000 square metre dog-park at the Parque Lineal on Calle Fausto.
The facility will be divided into two separate areas for larger and smaller dogs and will be completely fenced in.
During a visit to the facility, the mayor announced that in April Malaga Council will be launching a new mobile app for dog-owners which will provide information of interest including pet-related activities and establishments that welcome dogs.
Finally EMASA municipal water company announced that 62 new dog-friendly drinking fountains are to be placed across the city, channelling excess water to a lower level bowl for dogs to drink from.
