Police chase results in drug arrests

TWO men were arrested in Fuengirola for alleged drug-trafficking after trying to avoid a police check-point.

Officers took chase when the pair fled from the checkpoint on Paseo de Poniente, near the Myramar complex, and caught up with them on Avenida Miramar.

A total of four kilos of hashish, 75 grams of cocaine found hidden in the men’s underwear, six mobile phones, a laptop, €3,000 in cash and a car were confiscated.
