VILLA ROMANA: Fascinating excavations.
THIS coming Sunday March 29, Alfaz will be hosting an open day at the Villa Romana museum in Albir – the first open-air museum in the Valencia Province.
More than 8,000 people visited the facility last year and looked at the excavations that date back more than 1,500 years. Residents and visitors are invited to a guided tour of the museum from 11.30am onwards and at 1pm an official presentation of the new facilities will be made. There will be various activities and educational workshops for children to join throughout the morning.
