FORTY strategic points in Spain have been chosen by Velez-Malaga to promote the tourism attractions of the town’s Semana Santa (Easter week).
Tourism councillor, Rocio Ruiz, explained that the promotional campaign had begun on Monday (March 23) and would run for a period of 15 days.
An advertising poster has been designed using three representative pictures – the Velez-Malaga Semana Santa celebrations, the coast of Torre del Mar and a third picture of the newly inaugurated Jardin de los Remedios Park.
“The main goal of this campaign is to promote our Semana Santa festivities, but also our town’s other attractions, such as beaches, nature, gastronomy or traditions,” said Ms Ruiz.
She added that some of the most important cities included in the advertising campaign were Malaga, Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Jaen.
